this week has been insanely fun.
i wish all weeks were like this... i got so much done and filmed so much and had so much fun with my friends.
and so much of it is stuff i can't even talk about yet.....
sigh.
its lazy sunday and i just scratched my eyeball OW!!!
im trying to decide what to do tonight and if i want to get fancy......
this week i worked on factory girls, did a shoot, a music video, wrote three new songs, made a new dress...new painting... and i only have the most exciting week ahead!! 
i love my life......
the only thing that could make it better is if i become a professional songwriter again.. meaning that writing songs is paying my bills again.... so officially im asking the universe to bring this to me!!!! im half way there again...

oh hell... there's plenty to celebrate about....
time to find audrey and see if she's going out too....
maybe we'll hit up hyde and eat all the wasabi peas.

im in bed under a blanket of feathers and im supposed to get up and host a party in two hours.

tomorrow is factory girls intro shoot. we went around buying shiny new things for it.
i still don't know what to wear..but i might rerun the dresses i have made before i sell them of for skrilla.
i ate a havana sandwich today. bananas and cheese. and i swear it was so delicious i almost started to dance.
i don't look well at the moment. i must phone  chester the magician to come alacazam presto!!! me back into tip top shape.
ill show up at the party like cthulu if i dont think fast.

I am editing all the video clips off my camera while i write this..  somehow i took 60 little clips! that's so many!
ok.. so..
first i made my dress. I was sewing well into the night on the 29th. i packed at 4 in the morning. at 7 justin woke up and took me to the airport. so i was sleepy!
i was totally hooked up by my travel sponsor www.travelworm.com - i HIGHLY recommend you booking your next flight/vacation through them. They got me a flight on the brand new Virgin America airline. It was the raddest plane i have ever been on by far....mood lighting.. comfortable seats. and everyone had a touch screen in front of them where you could watch movies, play games,  order food or watch satellite tv. I was so sleepy but i ended up not sleeping a wink since i was enjoying the plane so much.. it was like flying in an dayglo ipod with wings


i got into new york at around 7. and took the subway into the city. when i got to street level it was raining cats and dogs and im sure i looked funny dragging all of my bags with my scarf tied tightly on my head so my purple dye wouldnt run down my face, and swearing since i kept getting lost....
i checked into my hotel that was only a block off of times square (again thanks to travelworm.com!!!) and i ran right back out to meet up with annie and kelly to get something to eat. they were staying at the w hotel tuscany.. and i fell in love with the lobby.. silver walls and chandeliers and im gonna rip it off and decorate my apartment that way complete with the modern chess set. swooon. we went out and gorged on decadent french food, onion soup, gruyere cheese and then white trashed it up by grabbing cheap beer watching silly tv in the hotel. i fell asleep on their chaise lounge that was like a marshmellow. in the morning annie decided to dye my hair and fix my atrocious roots. (audrey's flight got in too late the other night to be able to do it in time.. )
but annie saved the day. we ran all over searching for a beauty supply store and found one run by some guys i swear were right out of the sopranos. we drank champagne out of plastic glasses with them before tearing back to the hotel. i can't believe we dyed our hair and got ready all in the space of three hours. we met tila at 430 and at 530 the security guards showed up and we walked to times square. it was already mayhem. we were walked up the back and i was so excited to see mtv studios since id seen it on tv so many times since i was in junior high. its alot smaller than i thought but then again so was letterman and leno..its tv magic. it was so surreal since it was just us and a few people walking around but if you walked up to the glass windows you could see thousands of people just waiting in the cold between the barricades and there i was at times square on new years just standing there staring at them.
perez hilton was there with some friends who i swear were just spies digging up dirt for him. like the type of people in hollywood that make me cringe. i tried to strike up a conversation once in the hall when we were all standing there and he just comes off so condescending and pretentious... and who is he but a guy who got famous off of making fun of celebrities... anyway..i don't like him. i think he's rotten.
in fact most of the people there were not people id associate with. it wasn't really my scene. but i was happy to be there watching my friend do something so exciting. and it will be something i will never forget to be in the center of times square for the ball drop.
hayley from paramore was so adorable though. she has an amazing personality and was sweet to everyone. i thought she did a really great job. she's very tiny and im just sad i didnt have my camera on me when i met her. our hair would have contrasted very nicely.
most of the time we were shuffling around trying to find champagne and watch things that were getting taped. they were pouring my favorite champage that i can never afford... veuve clicquot
we took photos in the mtv photo booth and then ran into the cast from tila's show 'a shot at love' it was dominico, ashley, vanessa, and dani. dani is amazingly nice and seems very normal. vanessa decided she was in love with me by the end of the night and was telling everyone. haha.
ashley was trying to make out with everything in a skirt.. and dominico was cute but i can tell he's getting a little bit cocky with all of the attention. haha
its all very surreal. oh well i guess that's the world we live in these days. haha
i spent most of the time walking around lost in my own imagination. the lights were gorgeous and i sat there reflecting on this year and all that it has meant for me. i have really good vibes about 2008. i want this year to be a great one. i want to be a great woman someday. true greatness. not being on mtv or being on the cover of usweekly or making a million dollars or something like that. i want to be strong and smart and be a good artist. i want to sing songs that have emotional value and i want to make art that exposes my secret thoughts. i want to make things that mean something. i only want exposure or attention if im doing something great. i want to challenge myself. i am extremely ambitious but i want to be like frida kahlo or marlene dietrich or andy warhol.... not like these silly vapid celebutants that pervade our media.
i was thinking about those things as i sat there staring at the crowds.. audrey kitching and i are on the same page. we want to have as much fun as possible and really enjoy life and entertain people but we don't want to be stupid. i think its time we started celebrating people who are excellent at things again...
sigh..oh.. back to new year's..where was i.. oh ya. i was spacey and wandering around talking to people sipping on my champagne when i suddenly realized that it was close to midnight!! so we ran up and found tila and we were right behind her by the window.. when it reached midnight i got so excited like a little kid. people were screaming and it was magical outside.. confetti falling everywhere and everyone celebrating. :) it was a moment ill never forget. I only wish justin could have been there with me.. i took some video clips and then stood by the window thinking about justin for a minute. :) he made my 2007 a great year. healing my heart and helping me get everything going again.. girls!! don't settle for morons! good guys are out there.and i had to survive a few major assholes to find the right one.. so never settle!! <3
for a while after that we danced while kid rock (ew) and run from run dmc (yay) and his sons performed. then we packed up in a hurry and got a full on police escort through times square. tila was wearing 7 inch heels and she's only 5 feet tall and we still had to run to keep up with her.. haha.. i think i got a video clip of that.. and then we went to a gigantic club so we could dance with each other and have our own celebration. people were trying so hard to get pictures of tila and get to our table to meet her but we were blocking as hard as we could the entire time..but after a while she was just tired after her hard day of work so she left and we kept dancing until we starting falling down and then we knew it was time to go home...we lost annie when we got to the hotel and i was stuck holding her sparkly red shoe all alone in the elevator.. so after we found annie we all crashed pretty fast but before i drifted off i noticed i saw my purple hair on mtv.. did any of you see me? haha. 
woke up with a hangover at noon and ate a nice southern soul food brunch with tila and went to the airport.. i was in the security line for about an hour again and i again got lost in my imagination.. so many images were forming in my mind... i can't wait to make them!! im already getting geared up to prepare for my show at the viper room on the 14th. i hope you guys are coming!! :) on the flight back the lighting match my hair and i watched a marathon of americas next top model while i daydreamed. i feel a sense of urgency in stepping things up. for working harder and faster than ever. i love my life. and im so excited to start another year.
2008!!!!!!!! i hope its the best one yet!!
